Defective pump- PRIME TIME primer foundation
I purchased above product and when I got it home the pump would not work. Drove to closest store (The Oaks Mall, Thousand Oaks, CA) just to exchange item.
It was during the week and there were no customers in store. I explained the problem and requested a new item in which I was told by the associate: They all do that and its just a defect in item. In the very near futre they are changing to a squeeze type bottle/tube due to this problem. Rediculous...
She told me theres nothing she could do, since "they all are defective". The worst customer service, felt like I was a nuisance to her. She should have stood by the product and not let me in on that little "secret". Who says that to a customer.
Basically, so sad to bad Goodbye. What a waste of time traveling 10 miles one way .

Saleslady Didn't Honor Coupon
In Bakersfield, CA: I went to the mall store because they were having 20% off. I also wanted to apply my personalized $10 coupon that a salesperson had handwritten to me several months as a thank you, when I was last in that store.
She signed her name and it was on Bare Minerals postcard. This saleslady looked at my account on her computer and said she couldn't accept the coupon as it wasn't mentioned on my acct page. REALLY? She said she didn't know anyone named 'Patti' (who had signed it) and that anyone could have written it (she told me she wasn't accusing me of fabricating it but geez...
sure sounds like it). How insulting! I told her 'never mind, I'll get this somewhere else', left my coupon, proceeded to walk out.
On the way I told two ladies who were waiting for their makeover they probably should reconsider shopping here as they don't honor their own coupons. Next step is reporting them to corporate.
Formula change
I bought Bare Minerals Bareskin Bare Satin 06 Pure Brightening Serum Foundation a product I have using for over 5 yrs and been happy with this shade. When I got it home it was not the same formula as the one I have us d many times over.
It now has a warm tone not a pinky cool tone and gives me a pasty look and not at all flattering. The customer service people insist there have been no changes but they are wrong. Even the bottle has different info on which leads me to believe it is being manufactured in a different manner. I am so frustrated.
Has anyone else experienced this? Help!

Free Bare Minerals trial kit is not free!!
I heard a radio ad while driving for a free trial, 30 days for Bare Minerals kit. I called and the rep told me for $10.51 $9.99 plus shipping and handling, you can try out the product and if you call in 30 days, say not for me, no further charges will be added.
There was another kit that you could ad on to the free one, but if you didn't like that product you had to return that part of of the product trial. I went for the base one because I do not like to return stuff and figured for the $10.51 I could at least try their product to see if I liked using only powder and a brush. That was June 2012
Within 30 days, I called and told Bare Minerals that I didn't care for the powder iridescent look, in fact mentioned I felt like a goldfish. She laughed, said she had not heard that one before and then talked me into trying the matte, again for another 30 days free, and postponed the Club Membership until October 2012.
Called back in August 2012, within 30 days again and said please cancel my acct, just not for me.
Just got my credit card bill and low and behold, there was a charge of $39.99. Guess I wasn't paying close attention to be bill of July, because ther was a $29.99 charge from them on that statement.
Called Bare Minerals on Sept 9, 2012 and the customer service rep was just astonished that I hadn't ever been told that whether I had called to cancel or not, that the $10.51 that I was charged wasn't for the trial kit, that it was acutally $60.xx and that I had never returned it, so they charged. Confused, I questioned why I was charged $10.51 to begin with, and she said that was just the shipping and handling, not the product charge. Are you kidding me? They are supposidly reviewing the recorded conversations to see if what I am saying is true. Believe me, I would have NEVER tried this out if 1) it had to be returned, 2) it wasn't a free trial period of 30 days and 3) that I was forced into a club that wasn't supposed to even start until October 2012.
Shame on you Bare Minerals...thought you were a reputable company for as long as you have been around. Sorry I ever trusted your sales pitch and expected you to be true to your word. Even if I liked your product, I will never, ever forget what a slimy company you are.
READY FOUNDATION DISCONTINUED
Hello! I am not one to usually complain but I get so sick of finding something that works only to have the company discontinue it.
I started bare minerals when it first came out liked it but found it drying and have scars I try to hide. finally you came out with the ready foundation. was more moisturizing and covered my scars. went to our ulta store to replace as I was almost out only to be informed its been discontued .
they sold me on the new foundation wich is not near the coverage it spots and is extremely drying. what gives? why discontinue the only foundation you had that actually holds moisture?
so you only want customers with normal to oily and who has flawless skin nothing to cover??? very very disapointed

I have included receipts for atleast 4-5 orders I will also include my receipts for the facials and chemical peels I've had to do.
I've had to do chemical peels to remove the scars left from these cysts, facials and dermatologist visits who ruled out hormones, the foods I eat and any other factors.
I never thought it could be bare minerals because they advertise "natural" ingredients and it made my face feel like I was not wearing any makeup. Well, once again I have another cyst on my face and I decided to research every product I use. When I read about the ingredients used in bare minerals , one main one in particular called Bismuth Oxychloride which clogs pores and is known to cause cystic acne. I also saw many angry complaints online with other users of this product who had the same reaction that I did.
I am very upset and disappointed. I trusted this brand with my skin and it just ruined it completely. I will no longer be using bare mineral products and I want my money back. I don't know how but I've always purchased bare mineral products from authorized retailers such as Ulta.
I've spent countless of dollars on healing my skin AND the product itself which just ruined my skin.
